Jörg Schwitalla assumed the position of President of Munich Business School (MBS), succeeding Dr. rer. pol. Alfred Gossner. With over 30 years of leadership and consulting experience, Schwitalla brings extensive expertise to the German educational institution.
Schwitalla co-founded permitto analytics GmbH, specializing in personality, team, and organizational diagnostics. His career includes stints on the boards of renowned companies such as MAN SE, Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, and the Brose Group. Additionally, he has experience on supervisory boards and collaborations with international universities.
His profound experience in Human Resources, operations, and crucially, in managing transformation processes in large corporations, is considered a strategic asset for Munich Business School. This background, combined with his roles at international universities, is expected to contribute significantly to MBS’s plans for evolution and strengthening in the global educational landscape.
Aligned with this perspective, upon assuming the presidency, Jörg Schwitalla stated that his main objectives are to build on MBS’s current strengths, enhance the practical relevance of its programs, and drive the business school’s international development, applying his strategic vision for the institution’s future.
